Khan Academy, TED, and ETS developing the Khan TED Institute

Khan Academy, TED, and ETS are developing the Khan TED Institute, an online college designed for the AI era.

The partners hope to open applications within 12 to 18 months, keep total costs near $10,000, and begin with a bachelor’s degree in applied AI.

The competency-based model will combine foundational academic learning, practical AI skills such as building apps and agents, and human-centered skills like communication and leadership.

Launch partners include Google, Accenture, McKinsey, Bain, and Replit.
